Rewa FC has secured friendly matches against Birkenhead United and Auckland United FC on 27th July and 30th July respectively.
President Buksh was happy to confirm to the Rewa FC board saying this matches would give the team some serious testing grounds.
Head Coach Rodu says “the artificial turf will get the speed of the game up which is what we would like”.
Auckland United FC coach, José Manuel Figueira messaged to say they were happy to assist Rewa FC in its preparations.
Currently on the Northen League 2022 points table, Birkenhead United is 2nd while Auckland United FC is placed 4th. Both are behind Auckland City FC who leads the Northern League in NZ. Auckland City FC are placed with Rewa FC in the same pool for OFC Champions League.
Match against Auckland United is scheduled for 7pm on 27th July while Birkenhead United FC is scheduled for 2pm on 30th July. Both matches will be played at Bill Mckenlie Park.
The tigers are scheduled to travel to New Zealand on 25th July.
